Pool Planning: Step-By-Step Process Evaluation
Phone Consultation
Phone consultation is where you start speaking with one of our design experts. You will get a good understanding of the size and scope of your project. During our initial conversation, we will want to discuss your budget and time frame of construction.
Site Review
The second step is a site review at your residence, where we will measure your yard, review your site’s conditions, and discuss putting together a pool design that fits your budget. This entire review process takes about an hour to process.
Concept Design
Concept design is what our design team will create. Your project is a conceptual 3D rendering used as a review and forwarded for approval based on your site review. Once you finalize the concept designs, an estimate will be created.
Estimate
Our estimation procedures are very different from others as we will give you the specific costs for your project. Our estimation papers include the following services:
- Excavation
- Plumbing
- Steel
- Electrical
- Gunite
- Tile
- Decking
- Plaster
Approval and Permitting
Once your approvals are finalized, you will have your concept design and estimate. We shall move forward with MJ Excavating as your pool builders. Once you sign a deal with us and make an initial deposit, we will turn your concept design into construction blueprints needed to obtain county permits.
Construction Begins
This is the final process where MJ Excavating will discuss your initial project start date once a permit is obtained. Completion of your project can take nearly six to eight weeks.
